Below are the statistics for the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office for 2014, 2015, and 2016 year-to-date:

Domestic Violence Arrests - 358 in 2014, 325 in 2015, and 73 so far in 2016

Protective Orders Received - 539 in 2014, 634 in 2015, and 168 so far in 2016

Man/Woman Ratio  - For 2014, the suspects were 68% male and 32% female and the victims were 32% male and 68% female.  For 2015, the suspects were 65% male and 35% female and the victims were 34% male and 66% female.  For 2016 so far, the suspects were 66% male and 34% female and the victims were 32% male and 68% female.

Calvert County

DV Arrests: 2014 = 138   DV Arrests: 2015 = 219 (combined Maryland State Police and Calvert County Sheriff's office)

Restraining Orders : 2013 = 536  Restraining Orders 2014 = 503 Restraining Orders: 2015 = 566 Restraining Orders January - March 2016 = 112 (this includes peace and protective orders)

Safe Harbor Shelter Bed nights:  2013: = 3,100 for 44 clients.     2014: = 3,285 for 57 clients.    2015: = 4,624 for 63 clients.  Currently 8 women and 12 children at Safe Harbor as of today's date.

Hotline calls to Crisis Intervention Center: 2013 = 10,529.    2014 = 7,993.       2015 = 13,300

January 2016 through March 2016 Crisis Intervention center is currently serving 158 clients (men, women and children 5 years and up) who have been affected by Intimate Partner Violence, Sexual assault and abuse.
